my dads name was jim whiteford he was 49 when he died,
he worked as a miner right up untill polkemet pit closed in whitburn then he became a full time "doo man"
he orignaly came from shotts but lived most of his life in newmains
my mum is helen whiteford she nows lives in wishaw
he has 4 children elizabeth,james,sandra and donna
he also has 7 grandchildren wee james,graham,brian.lauren,lisa,emma and arran
after a mighty battle we lost my dad to cancer in 1988
we think of you every single day dad, ive begged god for one more hour
just so i could tell you everything i regret not saying,and of course to say goodbye id love to tell you how proud you would be of every single one of us and of course not forgetting your 7 grandkids wee james,graham and brian are all men now and are doing fantastic all in there individual way lauren,lisa,emma and arran are the weans and there all gorjis and a handful we speak about you often dad we love and miss you and although we had to let you go we new deep down it was for the best till we meet again.xxxxxxxxxxxx

hey Granpa i haven't left a comment in ages , just thought i'd tell come and leave you one , well everybodys doing great , Arran , Emma , Mason and Cara are getting so big and so gorgeous , Lauren's grown up and just as gorgeous as she always was , the boys are doing great , my mums got a new job and she seems to be more relaxed and enjoying i knew you had something up your sleeve for her , my auntie Sandra is still as crazy as ever lol but shes doing great being just as amazing as she always was , auntie Donna is fine too and my grans still her usual self , well granda we are all doing really good but i have my exams coming up soon and really just asking you if you can keep me in your prays to help me get through them and into college doing the thing i want to do i want to make you proud granda

hi grandpa , no left a comment in ages , well its the summer holidays not that it looks like it today , its raining as always in wishaw , well we have a new arrivel but im sure ma auntie sandra has already told you , she has , everybody rapped round her little fingrie already , shes exactly 15 days old today and weights a big 10lb 6 , shes getting massive but still very cute , well i could tell you about her all day . i need to ask you that you keep an eye on her and everybody eles , and make sure everybodys ok

Hi dad not left a message for a long time, you know i think of you every single day and when i need you your always there especioally on sunday when i prayed to you to keep our sandra safe and you did she has a lovely wee girl so cute she has all wraped around her fingers already.Luv you very much we will meet again some day and i know you will continoue to look after us happy dads day on sunday wish i was saying it to you face.

cant get a story i heard on fri out my head dad,makes me think wot are sum ppl all about it was pure nastiness and u wud be hard pushed to beleive who it came from a wee wummin u had loads of time for a low cheap shot but il try rise above it struggling like but i will try 5 weeks till ur new wee grandbaby will be here hope ur lookin out for him/her i think me n u no wot im having but im saying nothing lol love u.xxxxxxxxxx
